Sometimes You Just Build the Fun One

Flip a card, and it picks one real place near you to go — anywhere. No list to scroll, no decision fatigue. Wild Card Maps started as a "what if" and became a live, working app.

Wild Card Maps app showing a card-flip interface for discovering nearby places

One tap, one answer

Instead of an overwhelming list of nearby places, the app commits to a single suggestion — closer to how a friend would actually recommend somewhere.

Reskinned, not faked

The map itself gets restyled through real visual themes — comic book, newspaper, and more — pulling from live map data rather than generating fake AI art snapshots standing in for a real map.

Proof of range

This wasn't built for a client — it's a demonstration that the same no-code toolkit spinning up business CRMs and lead-gen dashboards can just as easily ship a polished, fun consumer app.

Why this matters

Wild Card Maps is the clearest counterargument to "no-code tools are just for landing pages." It uses real map data, real geolocation, real mobile navigation, and a real consumer-grade UI — built with the same stack used for business automation.
